I would get some new contact lenses Buy my husband the new bike he wants. And then spend the rest on clothes ( when I couldn't use them in a month or so I could pass them on to someone else) A thousand dollars doesn't go very far these days

Hi Jackie, good to hear from you today! If someone gave you $1,000 today, and told you not to spend it on paying bills, what would you use it for? I would use it for a down payment on a cruise, my 20th anniversary is in October 2005 and I would love to go on a cruise. I will probably go anyway but I could use the money for that. Good morning, I'll answer this question if my cat will ever move off my desk! GRRR! Stands right in front of the monitor! $1000, Hmmmm as you say, It does not go far. First I'd give my husband the money to get the last things fixed on his boat to get it into the water. That just might take it all or nearly all of it. Jackie, I have THREE cat's constantly leaving me "Presents" on my carpet! If only I could teach them to barf on the kitchen floor where it is easier to clean up! lol I love them all anyway! About to get a BIG STORM, gonna hafta go offline soon! SCARY!!!! Tracy Oh and I got the house totally clean today! Even the bathtub and carpets cleaned!! WOO HOO!

Hi Lorraine! Was cleaning carpets all day yesterday. Then I had to take my daughter to the Mall. We did a bit of shopping for her and Glamour Shots photos! The day before was her shopping spree. She has been a bit down as the girls in school are being very catty (at 11 !) They are like high school girls now! Shameful! So I took her to the mall, to her favorite stores and let her pick an outfit, purse, new shoes, bracelet, sunglasses, socks etc PLUS we got her hair fixed up and bought her some really cute hair pieces. She was the cats pajamas today, was even invited to sit at "the popular girls" table. It's funny because last year and all though school she WAS the popular girl! I think it is all perception, she is popular. She is the host of the schools television morning show is a great student and everyone loves her. She is worried about going to middle school next year. This ONE outfit, fully accessorized cost $120!!!! I can't imagine what school clothes are going to cost this year! UGH!!! Tomorrow is grocery shopping day. OH JOY, not as much fun for me as it was before surgery! lol Have a great weekend!!! Tracy
