Yes...It is nasty. (It is really strange because I can tolorate sugar.) Never have been a sweet eater, but to know that I can have a little of this and a little of that is nice. Peanut Butter it is a great source of protein. I need to try and include it in my day somehow. I guess with a few crackers so it will not stick so bad!!! Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. Have a great day all!! Ecila Lap RNY 12/22/03 426/403/313/180

I eat my p-nut butter on rice cakes. What's really funny is I couldn't eat p-nut butter before surgery but now I enjoy it a few times a week. Jill

Hi Ecila, I eat peanut butter almost every day for snack with reduced fat ritz crackers. I eat Simply Jiff. It is lower in sugar and sodium.

hello, I was told not to eat it by my surgeon as it is too high in fat. I still have not tried it. I make a yummy smelling PB&J sandwich for my daughters lunch every morning, but still have not gotten up the nerve to try it. Tracy 251/183/125

did you eat it off a spoon on on bread? I have heard a lot of people have a problem with it on bread. I have it occasionally on crackers (I too like the reduced fat ritz) and haven't had a problem with it at all.

oh, that's your problem, Peanut butter should be eaten off a spoon! seriously, I guess you could try the lower sugar ones, maybe that would help. I don't eat it often, but I just use the regular Jiff, but they do make a lower sugar one.

been eating pb since I was allowed to eat pureed foods. right off the spoon i have made a 1/2 sandwich pb and j (all fruit) no problemos but normally I stick with crackers, toasted lavash bread I use regular Peter Pan even made the Splenda PB cookies (no flour just splenda/egg/vanilla and PB) no dumping at all I try to stick to no more than the 2 TBS serving size Dr places no restrictions on it Regardless of fat--it is a good for you snack!
