hair is falling out

Two days ago, I noticed extra "loose" hair....not bad though. Yesterday and today I haven't noticed any.....so far just one day of a few loose ones. I also have colored AND permed my hair in the last month....I have a lot of hair so am not overly worried about it but if you are loosing a lot, I would try the recommended products just to see if it would help. I noticed about 2 weeks ago that my hair is very thin at the temples and thinning as the days pass. I had surgery 12/11/03, so about the same time as some of the others who have noticed the same thing.

My hair has been falling out since exactly 3 months, I have been taking biotin since my surgery and it has not helped. I have not been eating enough protein, but I just figure it will come back when it feels like it. Mine is worse in the shower and when I blow dry my hair. It usually doesn't fall out the rest of the day, just in the morning. But it is enough that I have a noticable bald spot now. Good luck, I guess we will all be bald together and skinny. Don't worry it does grow back. Mine has already started to slow down.

Hey guys, thanks for all the great responses. At least I know I'm not alone. I will definately try some of the products suggested. At least if I go bald, I'll have a slim face now to go with it. Renee

Renee, mine is also falling out and I am told it is very common. One of my firends who also had the surgery over a year ago had the same problem. Her's started growing back in around the 8 month mark, so this is temporary (although troubling)
