hair is falling out
Hello Renee,
My hair is also falling ut, has been for about a month now. There is really nothing that we can do about it. It stems from the trauma from surgery, low protein during that time and anestesia. Any or all of these things can cause/contribute to our hair loss. It is to be expected at about this time. Just make sure that you get your protein in now so that it won't last any longer than it has to. I should only last about a few months then all will be fine again. Until then, we just have to live with it.
Sorry for the not so good news,
Tracy
I have hair loss now, started right at 4 months. Mine isn't in clumps though. I had hair loss before surgery and now i'ts just more coming out, for example instead of a couple falling out it's like about 20 hairs falling out. There are some hair prodicts you can buy that work, I have some shampoo I bought for my hair loss years ago that has biotin in it don't recall the brand but it's in a greeen bottle. It worked. Also, I now have some stuff made my Nioxin for hair loss. I bought a little kit and it sis cost me about $30 but it works. Love it. But after this runs out I will get me something called CAT. It's in a purple spray bottle and you get it at a beauty supply store, I've never used it but have heard some great things from it and it's cheaper then all these others I have tired. Unfortunately I don't know the brand of that one either. If you stop using any other these products then the hair loss with start again. I'm not good about using mine regularly so I can attest to this. LOL

Hi Renee,
Add me to the club of people losing hair! I used to have such thick hair...people would compare my ponytail to that of a horse mane...lol. NOW... my pontail is so thin and to be honest the worst hair loss happens to me in the shower. I do have to admit that it appears to have at least slowed down a little bit. Someone said they were losing 20 hairs?!! I lose what seems like 100 everyday! I too am waiting for this to stop!

Been losing for almost 2 months now...I think I am overly sensitive to anesthesia ....I loose lots of strands everyday---and I did to begin with even before surgery but I can definitely see a HUGE difference in what is normal for me.
It seems to have been a bit less the past two days.
Definitely not losing in clumps though.
I can even see the effects of surgery on my nails.... our poor nutrition at first had to go to our vital organs to help us survive and hair and nails suffer because of it...of course our need for survival is superceeded by our VANITY!!!!
Had long hair but since surgery I now have very short. Just got it cut. My hair loss is extreme. I take biotin and do the nioxin shampoo. I am doing the skin, nails, and hair vitamin also. But, I had three surgeries because I had complications. Spent a month in the hospital. So it is the combination of the surgeries and losing wt.
