It's Monday This week I want to, eat right, drink lots, and get my housework done Last night I put my jammies on and realized that the arm holes came down to my waist. I am still wearing my 6x nightie. I think it is time to get something new The question today is: Are you still wearing the same thing to bed that you wore before surgery? Is it too big? What are you going to buy to wear to bed next? Jackie

I used to hate P.J's because I was always so HOT!!!! I barely wore anything to bed.....Now I like P.J's because I get cold at night......I still wear my big ones they are comfy......I don't no when I will buy new....I am thinking of buying a new sexy nightie for me and hubby!!! Jesi

Hi here Jesi, My name is Lorraine. I had my surgery Dec 15th 2003 .I am 4 months post-op and now down 75 pds. I am cold now. I never used to be. I put an electric blanket on under my sheets to heat me up....I bought 1 pair of PJS since the weight seems to be coming off fast. I was buying in the beginning and getting depressed when it got too big for me. I am glad I found this december message board so I can talk to people who had WLS around the same time as me... Good Morning Jackie! So funny that you posted this. Just last night I put on some old 3X jammies and looked in the mirror and saw how frumpy I look, even the neck hole is way too big. Fortunately, I have stacks and stacks of night clothes so I won't be buying any anytime soon. I have made that promise to myself. I have too many. As for what I will buy next...well, I guess when these are falling off of me, I will get some new shortie jammies. But, I don't sleep in them! I'll prolly list a bunch of my jammies on the clothing site soon. Why are the jammies so hard to turn loose of?! Tracy

Shorts....Thats what I wear now... and thats what I'll wear later. I live in earthquake country... I have got to be able to wear them outside if the big one hits in the middle of the night.

Hi, I have a nightgown and a robe (not a matching set) that I have worn for quite a while and yes they are HUGE on me but they're not falling off yet so I'll keep wearing them for a while yet. I'm going to Myrtle Beach in June and trying to hold off on buying anything new until then. I just don't want to buy anything new until I absolutely have to. Jill -69

My old jammies won't stay on. When I pull the pants up they just fall right back down to my ankles. So...my husband had to go out of town for a week and I went shopping! I found something that I have never worn before...a corset and panty set and some real pretty thigh highs (black). I liked it but he loved it. It felt so good to be able to get in a large and a medium! I also bought some new pj for every day use. You just got to spice things up every now and then after 15 1/2 years!!! Rhonda

yes, I am noticing how huge my pj pant bottoms are... I was rolling up the waist band yesterday b/c they sooo long now! Unfortunately these damn hips won't let anything FALL off yet! BUT I do a 2x short/tshirt set I bought from Walmart--I think for my honeymoon or vacation over a year ago and assumed it would fit--apparently Wally World wants people to think they are FATTER than they really are...but they now fit... OH well Hubby and I have a trip to Miami in a month and I was thinking of buying at least 1 new pj set...assuming we have our own separate room from the In Laws! Otherwise don't think the sleep shirts will ever fall off but they are meant to be big and comfy so I don't care!

A few months ago I bought a pair of PJs, the first ones in many years. They keep me so snuggly warm. Last month I both a size L nighty. I threw out the big ones. I don't need to look that frumpy. By the way, my hubby is going to try one of those "little blue" pills tonight. Maybe I should surprise him with something really sexy so he doesn't need it, right? Dixie

Wow.. I sure hate to be the only one, but I sleep without PJ's.
