Good morning Jackie, Change my name.... This is something that I used to think about a lot when I was growing up. I think we all hate our names at one point or another. Now, I don't know that I would. Maybe change the spelling to Traci, looks cuter. As for last names, we females can change it anytime we want, Just have to trade one man in for another! And pick one with a good last name! Hee Hee Tracy

I have always disliked my name because there are way to many JESSICAS and my hubby is Jason another way to popular name! So I made sure to pick names for my kids that were NOT popular.....I hated having 7 Jessicas in my senior class! My moms name is Lynne my mother in law is Kathy......What better than to combine them and get Kaitlyn...Well that was over 5 years ago that I picked that....and guess what now everyone and their brother has a Kaitlyn of some sort.....I also have Kristyn which isn't bad.....then my baby....I named her Madilyn and wouldn't you just know it.....Now that is all I hear.....I can never win!!! SOOOOO to make a long story short.......If I could pick a new name for myself it would be something not popular......ummm...... 1. Aislyn 2. Jenna P.s My first kids were twins and I wanted to name them Kaitlyn and Aislyn....but everyone in my family HATED aislyn.....I like it!

gee hard question I have kids names picked out but never really for my own I hated Shannon growing up--I was the ONLY girl Shannon in a class with 2 BOY shannon's....sucked I constantly get called SHARON ...uh nuh that is NOT my name. My middle name is ALISE but people like to say ALICE uh nuh...it is like ELISE but my mom said Shannon ELise didn't flow so she changed the spelling. I would have preferred to use my middle name I think....and I think I got a much better last name when I married...at least people can pronounce it! old Lawing vs new Welch got Lawling, La-wing, Rawling, it was never ever right oh well...can't win. And the other thing growing up they never ever hardly ever had SHANNON on any of that personalized junk to buy ....of course they had SHARON Now I can find Shannon constantly... I think about that when I pick out kid names.... but ultimately I think mine will end up with uncommon names. My grandmother's maiden name was Spencer and it is my brother's middle name. I always wanted a Boy named Spencer Austin

I don't think I would change my name... I was named after my grandmother (she died before I was born) I really like my name.. Kathrine Elizabeth But People have always called me "Katie" The only one I don't like being called is KATHY I can't stand to be called that... I think when you have kids you put out names you have always loved.... My daughters are Cheyenne Lee 9 and Autumn Marie 4... Both middle names are family names...

Whenever my kids are calling "Mom" all day long, I always say I'm changing my name to Fred so I don't have to answer them! Lisa G

That IS a good question. My name is not THAT common and it still isn't on anything personalized, so I think I'll keep it My name Shawna Lee was the automatic transfer from Shawn Lee cause I was supposed to be a boy and named after my male cousin who died while my mom was pregnant. WHEW am I glad I am not a boy.... hehe I hate my last name, but thats just because it's from my first marriage and I was only 17 when we got divirced and couldn't afford to pay the extra $50 to have my name changed back (not that I liked that name either). I did want to pick different names for my children and I picked Destin Eliseo (pronounced el-uh-say-o) for my son and Aliviya Rain for my little girl. Of course you can't win for losing cause every one always calls them Dustin and Olivia. Shawna.... who is refusing to weigh- so I dunno if its moved

When I was younger I used to think I'd like my middle name better, but slightly changed. It is Diane, and I liked Diana. Now that I am older, I am happy with my name but no one ever spells it right (so many ways to spell Christy). For my future child, we say we only want to have one since we are in our 30's now...we have picked a name we love for a girl, Mia Noelle. for a boy, if we should have one, I'm not sure. I love Zachary Alexander, but trying to learn to spell Zachary Alexander Letanosky would be awful! I'm trying to come up with something shorter that I like. Christy
