New Product to try!!!

Hello all, We went to Super Walmart tonight and just searching around my daughter found new low carb EDGE Doritoes, I went searching as I don't LIKE doritoes and I found new Low carb EDGE Tostitos Tortilla chips, restaurant style! They are actually good! They are SOY and have 11 grams of protein per 12 chips!!! 6 net carbs and 8 grams of fat. Not great on carbs and fat but butter than most choices and with protein too! They don't taste like those HORRIBLE Atkins Chips (shutter) Those taste like saw dust, these actually taste like what they should taste like! They have Cool Ranch Doritoes, Regular and Tostitos. Give 'em a try. Chips with protein, what will they think of next?! Tracy

I heard about these on the main message board. I LOVE doritos, but they turn into a big ol ball of corn meal in my tummy... but hey thats been a while ... I'm up to try some chips with protien.... YAY! Aren't we so lucky we had our surgery in the middle of a low carb revolution???? Thanks Tracy for sharing this info. I'm sure they will be on my F.O.D. very soon. Shawna

Shawna, I was thinking the exact same thing! WOW, how lucky we are to have our surgery now when every manufacturer is busting thier butts to jump onto the low carb band wagon. The sky is the limit with products now! Maybe one day...Sugar free, low carb, low fat, high protein KRISPY KREME DOUGHNUTS!!! Oh, excuse me...I have to go wipe my chin! Tracy

I keep looking for them with no luck.......I am with you about those yucky Atkins chips........YUCK!!! The tostitos with some salsa sound great! Thanks for the tip JEsi

Hi Jesi, Do you have a Super Walmart? They may have them in regular walmarts too. If nothign else, give it a few weeks and then if you still can't find them, We'll work something out to get you a bag or two. Tracy

I found them too!!! They make low carb tostitos also. I can't wait to make some chips with melted cheese on them. YUM!!! Lisa G

Hi Lisa, Fritos makes a new(er) chilli cheese dip in a jar that is pretty low in carbs and fat, only one gram of protein but with protein chips, you get it from them. Try it! You might like it! Tracy

Tracy, what section did you find the new tostito chips? Were they displayed with all of the low carb items or with the regular chips? This sounds like a wonderful treat, when we are having those "days" each month, when I could devour anything with salt...Thanks for the information, Brenda Barnard -77

Hello Brenda, The tostitos were right there with the normal chips. The bag is blue and says EDGE in silver on it. Tracy
