THAT I FOUND I CAN LOSE THE WEIGHT AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT ME AGAIN. AND I CAN WEAR CLOTHES I HAVE HAD FOR EVER AND FEEL GOOD IN THEM.
Disappointing thing? JUST NOT LOSING FAST ENOUGH FOR ME LOL...
Scariest thing? JUST THE SKIN LOOSENING.
Surprising thing? HOW GOOD I FEEL.

Great thought starter!
Exciting: no more shopping in the big girls' section...I celebrated by buying a whole new wardrobe (bad for the wallet, great for the ego!)
Disappointing: fits and starts of weight loss - don't know that I'm plateauing, but I lose a lot and then go into a holding pattern, then lose, then hold. Also seem to be slowing down quite a bit - no surprise, but disappointing...I want to keep losing 20 lbs a month!
Scariest: the amount of food I can eat and the fact that I don't dump. I can eat anything, and in the last few weeks, seem to be able to eat a bit more. Easy to manage now, but am terrified about 6+ months out.
Surprising: how much better I feel, and how quickly my co-morbidities went away. My knees and feet stopped hurting within the first weeks, I've stopped snoring, my back doesn't hurt... on the down side, I've developed horrible burping and can rival an 8-year-old boy. The volume, tenor and length of my burps surprises me every day!
I couldn't be happier about taking this journey, and can't wait to see what the next few months bring.
