what is your monthly weight loss now

I was wondering what is the weight loss you are experiencing each month now. In month 3 my loss was 9lbs for the month which was 1 lb short of what I wanted for my goal of 10lbs. This month I am down 4lbs so far and I hope to hit 10lbs for my goal. My grand total loss is 68lbs to date and I will be 4 months out tomorrow!!! So where are you at for pounds lost at the end of the month? Karie

Hi Karie, We have the same anniversary ( I think you knew that already) Happy anniversary tomorrow! This month, so far, wishing for another pound tomorrow...I have lost 11.8 pounds from the 12th to today. I have lost 64 pounds so far! As for since April 1st... 4.4 pounds but I go from anniversary to anniversary (12th to 12th). Tracy

My surgery was 12/4, and I am down 61 lbs, I am finally under 200! this is very exciting. keep up the good work! sandi

In March I lost 8 pounds. So far in April I've lost 4 pounds, but it comes and goes and I really wish I knew why. My total in 67 pounds.... Jill

Hi Karie, My loss was slow at the beginning, month 2 was -9 pounds when that's usually a big loss month, so I don't know if I'll ever "catch up", but that's OJK, it keeps coming off! Mine looks like this: Month 1 -19 Month 2 -9 Month 3 -10 Month 4 -5 (what's up with that???) Month 5 two weeks so far -5 Lisa G 274/248/200/140

I am 3 mos and 2 weeks out approx. Started at 249 official surgeon's pre-op weight Dec 29th 1 month weight 229 -20 lbs loss (official surgeon weigh in) 2 month weight 217 -12 lbs loss home scale 3 month weight 206 -11 lbs loss home scale April 12th weight 201 (5 more lbs! In 2 weeks) SO I am running about 11 lbs I figure the 1st month isn't a good indicator since it is so drastic...but the subsequent months have been steady. The PA at my surgeon's office said 8-11 lbs/month is good. Right now I am 48 lbs down....come on 50! I hope I can get to 195 by then end of the month. Would be quite happy with that #. Then "only" ~55 lbs to go!!!!

I'm so bad! I havn't been keeping a monthly chart of how much I've lost. I do know that this month I have lost 3lbs. Totally I've lost -68lbs and my 4 month Aniv is on the 15th. I'm hoping to be at 70lbs by then. Amy

In month one I lost 34 pounds (that was from what I weighed when I came home from the hospital to the one month anniversairy of my surgery date). In the second month I lost 15 pounds. In month three I lost 10 pounds. In month four I lost 15 pounds. My four month anniversary was just on the 9th, so I have only lost 1 pound since then so far. Anyway, it's a total of 75 pounds since I came home from the hospital. Christy

I also go from my anniversary date....18th to 18th. Month 1- 25 lbs. Month 2- 21 lbs. Month 3- 12 lbs. Month 4- 12 lbs (I still have 6 days to go to the end of month 4) -70 total (except that I have 2 extra today due to salt I ate on ham yestersay.....will probably be gone again tomorrow). I hope to loose a min. of 10 lbs in months 5 & 6 and be at -90 by my 6 month anniversary. Jenni

Well for the first month I lost 30lbs. (going on anniversary dates) 2nd month--19 lbs 3rd month--14lbs 4th month (still have a few more days)--16lbs I have lost a total of 79lbs since surgery and I'm feeling wonderful!!! Amy M Lap RNY 12/17/03 297/218/150
