Stuck in the 60's......
WELL did it work? Did you avoid the scale til MONDAY??
I did since I was out of town....at the in laws and we walked all over Washington DC on Friday
I got on the scale Monda morning....I went from 204 to 201...so NOW I am at -48 lbs YEAH!!!
OF course I can't wait for 50 but hopefully by the end of this week that will happen too!
It was nice to avoid the scale and see a major drop!
I should try to wait til every monday morning...but it is soo easy at home to get on the scale before I jump in the shower...

I did stay off the scale until Monday, but it was actually up one pound. I am just so frustrated. I did email my nutritionist and asked her about some of the ways I have read on here about boosting weight loss. Specifically I asked her about increasing carbs. Here is her response:
"I would definately not increase your carb intake. On the contrary, I would increase your protein intake. Instead of eating 2-3 oz of meat, eat 3-4 oz of meat. This will cause you to become full and stay full for a longer period of time. You also won't eat as much of the "other" stuff. For instance, eat 3-4 oz of salmon and eat only ½ c of a veggie. Maybe just eat 3 oz of tuna salad for lunch. If you are hungry in the middle of the day grab a handful of almonds. But try not to snack. Hopefully this will jump start your weight loss again.
Basically, loosing weight comes from expending more calories than you are taking in. Are you incorporating an exercise routine? It might be helpful to increase the amount of time you exercise by 5 minutes. I know that always helps me. "
Sounds like sound advice to me.. I did start Jazzercise last week so that should really help. I will keep you posted.
By the way, congratulations on weekend weight loss. I am proud of you!!!
