Survived wedding & thanks

Thank you so much for the good wishes. I appreciate them. The wedding went off & no major problems, except they forgot to take a copy of their marriage license along with them on their honeymoon. They are flying to Can****omorrow out of Chicago and were told to be sure to bring a copy. I just got back from finding it at their home & will fax a copy to the hotel in Chicago when they arrive. My son & DIL (oh, I like saying that!) were beautiful and I was so proud of both of them. We are all exhausted. Ben said the nicest thing to me last night during the mother/son, father/daughter dance. He told me that several people had told him how nice I looked. I said that I was glad because I had been really afraid I was an embarrassment to him and that was part of the reason I was so upset last Sept when they had to postpone my surgery until Dec. I wanted that extra 3 months to lose more weight. Sweety that he is, he told me that he had never been ashamed of me. I also talked with one of his old HS wrestling teammates who told me that he almost didn't recognize me. It really made my night! Dixie (down 90lbs now)
