What you eat today?... or yesterday? or tomorrow... when its today????

I love when people post this on the main message board, but everyone is so varied in how post op they are that only a few apply to me. I was going to post it at dinner time... but I did my firs****er aerobics class (GO ME) So since there arent sooooo many people here I figure it might be tomorrow by the time some of you read this, and then "today" will be tomorrow but WHATEVER... before I confuse anyone What did you eat the day you read this post?!?!?!? (how's that?) As for me: Morning: I didn't eat this morning I tried to go water and vitamins FIRST and didn't feel like eating. Lunch: I had some homemade chili beans with some cheese on em Snack: a very small salad with vinegarette dressing Dinner: I had some of Wendy's chicken nuggets and they tasted bad and made me feel bad but I had already done salad and chile and wanted something different ... NO MORE OF THAT!!! I did get my fluids in today by way of water all morning and then a LOT of iced tea through the afternnon. As we speak I feel like Im STARVING (lol) and I think I may go try some of the cheese chips in the HOT ROD. So glad I found this board!!!! Shawna 360/283/200

Hello Shawna, Welcome to our "Decemberites" board. Today I had the same as you for breakfast, vitamins and water. (Shame on me) Lunch was a protein shake and dinner was lemon pepper fish. I also had some beef jerky to snack on and help get my protein in. I managed to get all my protein in despite skipping breakfast. Tracy

Yesterday I had Carnation instant breakfast w/ milk Lunch I had 1 tbs of peanut butter and 4 crackers Dinner I had 1oz of grilled chicken, 1 tbs of crowder peas, 1/4 of a pear half. I wish I could find some high protein foods.. I'm soooooo tired of meat. I dont do protein shakes cause the make me I know that I have got to find a way to get my protein in cause My hair is already falling out.. Come on lets get rich and make a protein pill... I wish Kim

hmmm yesterday let me try to remember For breakfast (usually the exact same thing M-F at work) Low Sugar Yogurt (whatever flavor, bland I happen to grab) I have decided I like the Yoplait light the best Lunch 1/4 of a Panera Bread Turkey turkey sandwich with Gouda around 2pm I had Champion Whey Stack Chocolate Shake (mix with water and ice) I don't recall having a snack yesterday.... Dinner 1/2 Cup of my Boca Burger Chili with Kidney Beans, shredded cheese and Soy Tortilla Chips (I think I had 7 of them) I was EXTREMELY full so no night time snacking I think I got all of my water in maybe 8 oz short..... This week I have been bad with my water. Bfast --Yogurt Today went to Joe's Crabshack for Lunch and got the Blue Crab Dip and had 2 hushpuppies

This is a good idea. Perhaps we should post what we ate every day, as a way of keeping track and sharing ideas! Also, it could give others a chance to help us when we "stall" or plateau......I'm probably too lazy, although listing things out sure helped me to see my problem areas! Yesterday: B: 1 Atkins shake, as usual L: 3/4 cup chili, extra cheese D: 1/2 chicken breast (over green salad of which I took about 4 bites) E: 40 min. of power-walking Today: B: BIG breakfast splurge! 1/3 meat/cheese omelette, 1/4 cup whole grain grits L: 4 0z. "Chicken with Black Bean Sauce" from P.F.Chang's no carbs (they have an EXCELLENT lo-carb menu!) D: not hungry - Atkins protein shake E: 45 min. at Curves NO snackin', plenty of water or Crystal Lite. An OK couple of days! Donna

Hi guys, Here's what I had yesterday. Before Breakfast with meds= decaf coffee with one and half scoops of Unjury, giving me 30g of protein. water. Breakfast = 2 very small sausage patties, half a fried egg. water Lunch = coffee with unjury 1.5 scoops 30gs. Dinner = tspoon of cottage cheese, tspoon of applesauce and 1 oz of colby cheese dipped in spicy brown mustard. love that stuth water coffee with 1.5 scoops of Unjury for the 30gs. water V8 drink, one of those little cans love that stuth too. That gave me a total of 110 grams of protein yesterday! or round abouts there. 735 cals 21 fat 28 carbs. Hugs Penny LAP RNY 12/12/03 280/233/unner 200...160'd be nice!

Hi everbody. I am having a hard time getting in fluids and protein. I have started at Shapes (like Curves) 3-4 times a week. Usually I don't eat breakfast, because I'm rushing, so I have coffee with skim or lo fat milk, with all the vitamins I take. I work in a school, and we're not allowed to have any food/drinks in the classroom. Usually at lunch, I bring in homemade tuna salad, chicken salad. I stay away from bread because it makes me feel bloated (I think that's what it is) and I end up wanting to dump. Snacks is usually some cashews or other nuts, or a yougurt or fruit cup. I cheat sometimes with bite size chocolates. They don't give me a problem. Dinner is usually broiled chicken, maybe some veggies. I love salad, but am having trouble with it. I try to drink as much as possible, but it is hard. I can't eat pork, beef, hot dogs. Any suggestions on some stuff I can add to this boring diet? Help is greatly appreciated.
