Muscle/joint aches?

Anybody else experiencing muscle and joint aches at night that keep you awake? I was told we can't take anti-inflammatories, so I'm stuck with Tylenol gelcaps, which does NOT work for me. It's not a protein or over-exercising problem - this was going on before my surgery, but at least then I could take Advil. Anybody have any suggestions? Donna

I get bad muscle aches at times too. I was thinking of asking dr about it as I was worried it was from vitamin deficiency. I take Tylenol PM and it helps.

Why can't you take advil now? I take it all the time when I get headaches. I suffer from migranes and it is the only thing that can take the edge off sometimes. They make liquid-gels too, but sometimes I think they are harder for us to take (digestion-wise) I used to have a bunch of aches deep in my hips and knees. As of yesterday I am 4 months post op and have lost 81 lbs! I am feeling a lot better... but things got worse before they got better. Hang in there... your days without aching are close in site!

My doctor also allows advil/motrin etc. I try to limit when I take it but during that time of the month it is the only thing that helps. Are you exercising alot? Jackie
