BTW-You can add to these ingredients to make more than what I put. My family LOVES this so I usually make 2lbs or more of hamburger meat. Just depends on the size of your Crock Pot! Thanks, Jill

Here's mine for the day: Grilled Portabello Mushrooms Large Portabello Mushroom Steak seasoning ( I use McCormick's) Scrape the "gills" off from the underside of the mushroom and season with steak seasoning. Put on a medium high grill and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side. This is soooo good and tastes just like steak!! (My surgeon said no beef for 6 months so this really helps with the "red meat" cravings!!)

yummmmmmm great idea! I have started using BOCA BURGER "ground beef" so if you want lower fat, good for you soy protein....you can substitute it for alot of things! I made my chili with it last week. Plus the pcs are really small and don't require a ton of chewing to process/pass thru the pouch.

I have tried the Boca Burgers, but not the ground pcs yet. I will have to get some and try it. I have been using ground Turkey alot to make taco meat, chili, etc.. I cant tell the difference at all.
