Q.O.D. 3/30
Hi!! It's Jean. I have done so many different jobs.
.I first started out as a Librarians assistant for a couple years. Then I was offered a full time job as a Park ranger at a State park. (That was a fun job....I still love cutting the grass..) But advancement in those jobs is impossible. I have been a CENA for the past 5 years at a local hospital. I absolutely love my job. I decided that I could do so much more for my patients so I decided to go back to college. I will now graduate with my LPN next month!!
It has been a longggggg haul but sooooo worth it.
How many people can actually say that they can't imagine doing anything else with their career?? In this small town that I live in, it is very few. When I was a senior in high school I was voted most likely to stay in our home town. That just gave me all the more gumption to prove them wrong!! So now it is our 10 year high school reunion next year...I've got a secret..
I wonder if they will even notice??

I work full time for an agency that operates many types of social services such as counseling and domestic violence assistance. I work in their Head Start program as the Deputy Director of Education. I supervise the teachers and oversee the everyday operation of the classrooms and the education part of the program. This is my dream job and even though it can be very stressful a lot of the time, overall I love it. I have a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood and am ready to start working on a master's (eeek!). I am married, but with no children so it is great to be able to spend time with kids whenever I want to. Of course I have my nieces, who are the next best thing to having my own.
Great questions. I really enjoyed reading everyones responses and feel like I am getting to know all of you.

Hello Dec. buds..
I am an alarm dispatcher... Ive done this for close to 20 years ! Time flies.. There was no formal schooling for this, just on the job training- I worked at it full time for 11 years then went to part time after my 6 year old was born- so I also consider myself a stay at home Mom-
I always had a dream (and a pipe dream it is) - I would love to operate a fitness facility that caters to the larger woman- I dont know about any of you- but even at my heaviest I enjoyed exercise- but felt very uncomfortable in a gym environment --
have a great evening
Elaine

I used to wor****il daycare bill was more than our house payment. I have 5 beautiful (rotten) boys 5, 7, 9, 11, 13. So now I stay at home and in addition to my 5 boys I babysit 5 other children. So all day I'm surrounded by 10 kids. And then on wednesday night I do the nursery at our Church. I used to be an assistant manager for a local finance company. I do miss some of the action of working away from home. But now my children are so used to be being at home I dont think they would adjust to me going back to work!
I am a stay at home mom of 3 beautiful children. They are my son, 6yrs old and in Kindergarten and we have twin 3 1/2 yr old twins who will be 4 in May. Unfortunately I don't have a degree in anything. I "put" my husband through school and will hopefully be able to attend classes for interior decorating. We are relunctant to ask for more money for a student loan. I would love to own my own business. Someday, it will happen.
