Q.O.D. 3/28
Hello,
I was born (in a car) at the gates of Camp Lejune North Carolina. When I was 5 we moved to 29 Palms California, when I was about 6 we moved to Brandon Florida (just outside Tampa). I lived in Wahiawa Hawaii for a short time in 1986 and in Fort Dix New Jersey for a short time in 1988. Other than that, I have been in Hot, Sticky Florida. I have visited many other states however. I think that my least favorite was Texas! We stayed with relatives in Port Lavaca in Mid August. I thought Florida was miserably hot! I thought I was going to DIE in Texas! UGH! lol So, Jackie being that you have lived all over the world and were born in England, do you have an accent? Tracy
Good afternoon all!
I was born in Liberty.TX (east of Houston) spent my growing up years in the little town of Fannett (south of Beaumont,TX) lived in Beaumont for 12 years and now live just east of Huntsville, TX in the really tiny little town of Riverside.
I am probably the least well traveled person you have ever seen. I have only been out of Texas as far as Springfield, Missouri to the North; New Orleans,LA to the East;Carlsbad,NM to the West and Ciudad,Acuna to the South. (Acuna is right across the border from Del Rio,TX not exactly a hopping border town!!)

Texan to the Bone!
Hi All! I was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey and in 1990 my husband, 2 children and I moved to Richmond, Kentucky. What a culture shock at first lol but we love it here and wouldn't "move" back to NJ for anything. All of my family still live there and we go up there twice a year to visit. My husband has a brother that lives here and the rest of his family also live in NJ. It is very interesting to read everyone's backgrounds. Thanks for sharing. God Bless.

I was born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas while my dad was in the service. Was there a very short time (and have never been back) and have lived many places over the years as my parents moved a lot but most of my growing up and all of my adult years have been in KS. I now live in a town I've lived in for 18 years and this home is the home my children were brought home to from the hospital when they were born and is the home they will be launched from for college. (Can you tell I don't want them to have the same experience I had of moving what seemed like hundreds of times?!?) I LOVE being settled in one place and have so many good friends and a wonderful church. I wouldn't live anywhere else but where I am......except for when it gets humid in the summer. How's that for a long rambling answer to a short, easy question??! LOL!
