New to the board

I have been watching the board for weeks, and I am finally going to post. You all seem to be so much fun, I want to be a part of it! I am 15 weeks out from surgery and have lost 66 lbs. I seem to be on track with everyone here as far as weight loss so that is encouraging.

Thank you all for welcoming me to the board!! Here is a little about me. I am 36, married, no human children, but two dog children. My surgery went fine with no complications and just like everyone else, the weight loss at first was really fast and now it is just creeping off.

Hi Tracy! I notice that you are from Gibsonton, FL I grew up in Brandon..

I have 2 dog kids as well....no real ones for me yet....probably not til 2yrs from now. Assuming all goes as planned. I am in NO rush...but for some reason I think my hubby might be disappointed we don't have any yet....he just won't say it. OF course he doesn't have to make all of the big sacrifices to have them like I will have too....

What kind of dogkids do you have? I have a Schipperke named Skipper (imagine that!) and I have a minature American Eskimo Dog named Mako. They are such a hugh part of my life!!

I have 2 basenjis (1 is a mix) and they both came from Marietta GA not tooo far from you according to the map! They are both from the Basenji Rescue group.
