Ya just gotta love Fitday.com!
Well, today was one of those days... I wanted to eat everything in sight. Probably because I could not have what I really wanted which was anything REAL...Milkshake, M&Ms with peanuts, Candy Bar, Cookies...anything sweet!!! I'm not usually a sweet eater so it must be hormonal. So, I thought I pigged out and ate everything wrong(not really wrong just a lot) today, I FEEL like I pigged out...but when I went to fitday.com and added EVERYTHING up for the day...My calories were still under 700 for the day...I got in all of my protein plus some extra, just the carbs were a tiny bit high. GEEZE, Well, that is good cuz I feel like I pigged out but learned there was no guilt! Gotta love fitday.com if for no other reason, setting your mind at ease after a bad day! I was feeling like a lowly toad! Now I am feeling better! Tracy
I am the opposite......I hate fitday.....I don't like having to enter everything, they never seem to have what I am eating......and I never know how to change it to ounces rather than cups.....I am not very computer literate so for me it is too much work......any tips would be greatly appreciated....I might just try it again! Jesi
I was also gonna add...make a real Milkshake......a cup of milk...freeze a banana.....there are tons of the low/no carb icecreams.......add a 1/2 cup of the carb ice cream......everything is possible....I don't really like milkshakes....but I make a lot of these healthy ones for my family and they all love'em.......good luck... Jesi
I have no idea how to calculate things on there unless I am at home and I measure everything out.
How do you say a 4 inch pc of veal? I don't know the weight or capacity...but I can see what it is...
they also never seem to have what I eat and I spend over an hour customizing everything. I would need to have 5 types of yoghurt saved in their system just for breakfast every day since I have a variety of brands.
How do you calculate 5 pcs of penne pasta?
2 bites of texas toast?
Unless it is pre-pkg and I am at home where I can weigh/measure every little thing...then it is almost impossible to calculate.
Mmmmmmm Penne pasta and texas toast. I don't eat that stuff anymore...too high in carbs, just not worth causing me to not lose the weight and carbs cause cravings!!! UGH!
If you have a scale and measure all of your food for a while, you get a pretty good idea on what about 2 ounces is or about how much a certain item weighs. Just takes some practice. Tracy
