Long stall at barely 3 mo.
Anyone else have a 10 day or longer stall at just barely 3 months?? (it actually started before I hit the 3 month mark). It is so dang discouraging, esp. after coming off of a month where I only lost 12 lbs. As far as I know, I'm doing everything right though I do struggle with my calories (I eat about 1000 a day but could easily eat more). But I make very good food choices and don't eat any bread, pasta, deserts...not even a bite though yesterday I had two opportunities to eat...one was a "sinful" chocolate caramel desert...and later wedding cake and mints. I passed on both. Any others have a stall this long at this stage?? I had another one very early out but I'd just dropped about 20 lbs. in 2 weeks at that point so I figured it made sense....but this one is getting to me. THanks,
Jenni
I've been through a couple of stalls myself. It seems like I stall and hover between a few pounds for a week or so and then wham bam... the pounds trickle off so easily.. then I stall and repeat the same thing. I've been through it a few times now so I try not to get concerned about it. It seems like I lose weight and then my body says... whoa... hold on there... what's happening...
If I weren't such an 'addicted to my scale' kind of person, maybe I wouldn't even notice it. I'm just so excited about the clothes I'm wearing now and the energy I have!
I stalled for a week or so early on, after I had lost about 25lbs, and now it has been about three weeks since I have really seen the scales move! You are right it is discouraging I have decided that this week I am going to up the exercise, protein and water and if I am still at a stand still at the end of the week I am going to call the doctor and see if there is anything else I can do. Jenni, know you are not alone in this

My weight loss pattern sounds like Susan's. I'd lose then stop , then lose then stop, etc. I've only lost 47 pounds and I'm 3 months post op today.
But, I was sooooo happy when I saw my father this past weekend. He said, "Oh My GOSH!!!!!!!!! Look at you!!!!! You've lost all your weight!!!!! He'd always mention how I look like my mom (deceased over a year ago). I'm sure it was a comfort to him but it made me cringe. That did it for me!!!!!!!!!! This surgery has been a success.
I hear everything you guys are saying... I was on a plateau at 9 weeks for almost 2 1/2 weeks and I thought, "this can't be it!" Of course the scale started to move again and I think I have just hit the tip of another stand still. My last one was 20 pounds ago so I am hoping this doesn't happen every 20 pounds. I was not as good as I should have been over spring break and I am determined that this is going away so I upped my water and protein so far today and plan to do it the rest of this week. I'll let y'all know how it works out! I hope your loss picks up too Jenni!
