Q.O.D..3/21
I decided it would be easier to date, rather than number the questions of the day I can't count too high
I hear a lot about how, after wls we need to get lots of rest (at least 7 hours of sleep a night) and try to stay as stress free as possible
so today's question is :-
What do you find the most relaxing thing to do? How do you pamper yourself? And, do you get enough sleep?
Have a wonderful Sunday

At the end of a long day, a nice hot bath is so nice esp. when the kids are all asleep and I have no interuptions. We go to bed around 10:30 pm but now with all this new energy I am up at 6 am wide awake and ready to start the day. I feel like I get enough sleep. I am almost never tired until my hot bath at night. Funny how that can relax you so much (but is it that the kids are just in bed and it is quiet).

I get plenty of sleep, but as far as pampering myself, I guess I don't know how to do that. I think I am a work-aholic! I feel best when I am at work or home working on some project or another. I used to eat when I was bored, now I work!! Looking forward to the responses on this question as maybe I can learn some pampering ideas to use.
Happy Spring !
To relax I like to do stamp art and scrapbook.. I also like to read -mostly best sellers- any good book suggestions ? My pile of "to reads" is dwindling..
I get plenty of sleep - between 7 and 8 hrs a night now- and the quality of my sleep is so much better too
Have a great day..

Well, now that I can FIT into my bathtub again, I've started collecting nice bath salts, etc., and USING them. Just me and my little whirlpool tub, husband, son AND cat locked out, all my candles lit, soft breeze through the palm trees, what more could a gal want? OK, maybe a nice glass of wine, but hey, the rest will do for now.
Also, I REALLY enjoy researching the WL websites right now. I am reading so many encouraging stories and meeting some fine, supportive people such as yourselves. It makes my journey so much easier to see that I am on track, and my goals are actually obtainable! THAT relaxes my obsessive/compulsive side!

Lately I have been going to bed after midnight and I get up anywhere from 6:30-7:30 in the morning...I am always LATE for work...not a morning person...thank goodness when I finish school I can work nights! Starting in the Fall I have clinicals from 3-11...perfect shift for me!
SO I am definitely NOT getting enough sleep with my full time job and full time school. I only get Sunday's to sleep in.
Not sure how I am getting by!
Not abusing caffeine like I did last semester--- MT DEW habit is kicked...no caffeine since surgery.
As far as relaxing.....on Sundays with the newspaper....at this point not enough time to pamper myself.
I get my Saturdays back in Mid May!!! after 1 1/2 yrs of NO Saturdays...about time!
