I am sooo excited about SPRING for the first time in a very long time!! My husband, kids and I are about to do something that I have not taken part in atleast 8 years...YARD WORK!! We are trying to get things together so we can plant a garden. Last year in the garden, my husband worked it while I watched on and this year I am gonna join right in. I love being able to bend over without my back screaming at me and being able to move between the rows without damaging the plants. My girls and I planted flowers yesterday and we had the best time. I think that they are loving the new Mom too. Hope everyone will have a happy SPRING!! We deserve it!

At church right now we are doing a series on the different seasons we go through at different times in our lives. Right now I would say we were all in Spring....an exciting time when changes are happening. I, for one have lived in winter way too long. Have a great time with the yard work

We took the boys to the playground today. I actually played on the playground with them. For the first time in their lives (4 and 3 yrs old) I was able to go down the slide without half of my butt hanging over the side of the slide! I was so excited!! ~Rachel

Well, we did our yard work but not before we went fishing with the kids. We caught about 25 but when you put it all together it was more like 5. The kids had a blast reeling in the little brim and we had fun watching them enjoying themselves. It was a beautiful first day of spring. Hope the weather holds out today...no rain...no rain!! Rhonda

We got 2 seasons here: Torrid, Hellacious, Hibernation Summer, and Sorta-Summer, which encompasses Fall, Winter and Spring. But who's complaining when one can walk around in shorts in Jan/Feb? Spring is brief, and for several short weeks our annuals can actually survive without being pounded into the ground by the sun. By Easter, we've usually gone back to business as usual - A/C and a lot of Mall time. But I wouldn't live anywhere else on earth! It's PARADISE here! Donna, native Floridian
