first time here

I can't believe I haven't ever clicked on the December 2003 message board before. I'm on the main board all the time and also my state board, (which is quite slow). I'm always looking for others about the same amount out to "compare notes with." Duh! I should have come here sooner! I'm feeling pretty blah.....on a 8 day stall and really tired of it. Have lost 58 lbs. which seems to be slower than some and maybe faster than some others. To me, it seems like it should be better than that but what do I know?! Have gone from a 48.8 BMI to 39.1. I only lost 12 pounds in my 3rd month....anyone else slow down that much in their third month? I'm hoping for another 12 in my 4th month (which just starts today) which would get me to -70 at 4 months......I'd be happy with that (I think)! I'll be back to this board. Jenni

Hi there Jenni! I am so glad that you found the December board! We are a great group and really enjoy supporting each other! I was at 3 months on the 1st and....have lost 58 pounds. I have stalled again for the last 4 days and I hope that I can kick this plateau out of here!! Keep posting! ~Rachel

I just recently found out about this site as well. I had surgery Dec. 18th and have lost 57 pounds. Good luck with your weight loss.

Hi, I am new here as well. I had lap rny on Dec 19th and as of yesterday have lost 72 lbs. Hope to come back and post more often.

I didn't even recognize you with the new pic.......You look awesome....way to go!!! I am on the same boat as you....I am on the main boards a lot but just recently found this board......Also my third month has been a lot slower than months 1 & 2......I am hoping it will pick up again in month 4......I can be hopeful anyways!!!
