Hello Maricha, I had made a lean corned beed brisket in the crock pot a few weeks ago and I had no problems with it. Corned beef can be a very fatty meat, I bet it was the fat that did you in. The great thing about cooking it all day in a crock pot is most of the fat melts away and you are left with great, moist easy to chew meat. If you love corned beef as I do, try buying the leanest brisket that you can find, add the packet of seasoning to the top and underneath add cabbage and potatos (for the family). Cook it for at least 8 hours and you will find that it SHOULD be tolerable for you. Making my mouth water! Tracy
