Bon Jour my constantly reducing friends out there Today's question is.... Have you managed to reduce or cut out any medications that you were taking before surgery? I no longer have to take, HCTZ for fluid retention and high B/P and I am no longer having to take pain killers all the time just so I can move Have a wonderful Thursday Jackie

Good Morning Jackie! I no longer take my diaretic for swolen (hot) legs. As of month two, my PCP checked my blood sugar and found it so low that he said he will not longer call me a diabetic! I had horrible migraines before surgery ,60 days in a row at one time, then at least several times a week after that, I was on pain meds for that and have only had 1 or 2 migraines since surgery! Since they are going away with the weight, that made them BIG FAT HEADACHES! Good question! Have a great day! Tracy

I no longer take any depression or migraine medicine. They have also cut my thyroid medicine in half!! I love it, esp. the migraines being GONE!!

I was taking 4 pills a day for diabetes, 2 insulin shots a day for diabetes, 1 blood pressure pill, 1 protonix for stomach problems, aspirin and depression medicine. Today, I take nothing but my vitamins. My blood sugars are completely normal and so is my blood pressure. I thank God for blessing me! Mindy -60
