3 months out!
I am a day behind, but wanted to share my joy with all of my December 03 surgery family. I weighed in at 283lbs, which comes to a total loss of 119lbs! It has been such a blessing and I am so thankful for a new lease on life. I am very active in bike riding and scuba diving constantly, which has really helped me shed the weight. I am having a problem falling asleep now though. I can function on 3-4 hours of sleep daily, which I know is not healthy, but I am just so energized and wide eyed. Anyone having suggestions, please let me know. I hope this posting finds everyone doing well and I look forward to hearing everyones updates and success stories!
Ciao for now,
Johnny
Wow, Congrats on your success !
I know what you mean about being so energized.. I feel like I'm just spinning sometimes and did find it hard to fall asleep until the wee hours.. I solved my problem (most of the time anyway) by working out early in the day.. If I worked out later in the day I just pumped myself too much..sure is a weird feeling having too much energy isn't it?

Hi Johnny,
I am so right there with you on the sleep thing. I am waking up at 5a.m. and feeling wide awake!!!! Before surgery I could sleep all day
My doc says 7 hours a night is what we have to have post op in order to stay healthy, not sure if that is true for everyone though
Congratulations on the great weight loss
