It was Tracy if I recalled mentioned something about numbness in the hands/arms? Anyhow, about 3 weeks post my surgery I started to get this numbness in my arms and hands sometimes. I thought it was how I was sleeping. Is this realated to a lack of potassium? Never heard of this problem before now. Karie

just to let everyone know I was having those little dizzy spell Things and then I started to drink O. J. And Well I have not had one in a while... IT has so much Potassium....As Far as Numbness I am not sure where you have it but I had mine In my thigh and It was due to a pinch nerve... That was due to my weight. As I have lost it was diminished..., But when I lay flat on a hard surface it comes back.. Not sure if that can help...

Yes, numbness in hands and feet is a sign of low potassium which is very dangerous (I don't know the specifics as to why it is so dangerous). An immediate fix is bananas, but be sure to have it checked with your doctor. Lisa G
