Hello to all, I will be three months out Friday the 12th. I have begun getting these dizzy spells recently. Does not matter if I am sitting or standing I will just suddenly get dizzy, anyone else getting these? Anyone know the cause? I checked my blood sugar and it was 84...pretty good! Don;t think it is low blood pressure, that would mostly happen when I stood up. Thank you for your replies. Tracy

Tracy, I would call your Dr. and have them do a CBC and a Chem panel. Your iron levels could be low and that would mean that you are anemic, which is pretty common at this point. Dizziness is one of the main symptoms. Could also be an inner ear/sinus infection. Have you been congested lately? Jackie

The same thing has been happing to me, so I finaly went to the doctor last week, they did blood work and urine test. Said I was way to low in potassium and a little dehydrated. So after a week of bananas and up the water I am doing alot better.

Hello Jackie, I take iron daily, I used to be anemic but not anymore. I had the panel of blood work done at about 7 weeks and all was good and I havent changed anything since, if anything, I'm eating better and more healthy. I don't think I have any inner ear things or sinus infections, I usually get really sick with those. I take my flonase daily and singulair, so the pollen ( OH THE POLLEN!!!!!!) is not getting to me as much as it could. My entire car is YELLOW with pollen, it's supposed to be green! My oak trees are going crazy right now! Almost finished though, then I can clean up the mess! POLLEN PODS EVERYWHERE!!!! YUCK! I'll take an extra dose of allergy meds that day! Take care, Tracy

Tracy, I think I heard that dizziness and numbness or tingling fingers are signs of low pottassium and are dangerous. Call your doc!! Lisa G

I had the same thing happen to me a couple of weeks ago and I had to up my water and eat 1/2 a banana a day for a going on 2 weeks now. My doctor said dehydration will definitely cause these spells to happen. To be honest I was only getting in about 40 oz a day in. Now I am much better and I haven't gotten any more spells. Ask your doc though just to be sure. I hope it gets better for you. ~Rachel

Rachel, The water might be the thing..I know I have not been getting it all in the last week or two. I had a banana mixed in with my protein shake this morning so the potassium should come up if it was low. I looked at your profile, you aren't much taller than I am! I am 4' 11"! We are both shorties! Nice to find someone close to me, I'm always the shorty in any group! Thanks for your reply! Take care, Tracy

I love OJ but I have to be careful because the acid gives me horrible fever blisters. I now buy low acid OJ and can drink as much as I want. Jodie

Hey Tracy, I am right there with ya. I am 4'11 as well. Short and fat really sucks huh. What a disadvantage. I hate shopping for cloths. Actually I was finally doing good at Lane Bryant with their petite section. Now that I am in a 14 I can go to reg stores and let me tell ya their petites I can roll up twice. What's up with that. This losing weight stuff gets real expensive when you have to purchase and alter cloths every month. It's great though. How else would we be dropping these pounds 208/166/125
