Hello My Fellow Decemberites! I swear, I am beginning to see a pattern here! I am 3 months post op on Friday and at a 49-50 pounds loss. It seems that nearly every December 2003 post-op is a slow loser!!! Were the doctors being generous with our pouches because it was near Christmas?! OH NO!!! Maybe it's the curse of the Decemberites! Let's all chant and break this evil curse! We will put all of our energy together to break this! All together now... Wannalosemorefaster....wannalosemorefaster.....wannalosemorefaster.... Now, if we gain a pound or just don't lose any for a day or two, we must chant this again! Then, we'll see if it worked! Remember all, CHANT!!! Tracy

I noticed the December connection to us slow losers also!!! Isn't that weird?? I just can't wait to be 6 or 7 months out and look back at this time and say I'm glad it's passed. Lisa G

Me toooooo. But everyone tells me I'm losing to fast. 13 weeks out and down 82lbs. Men do lose faster the ladys do.... I just wanted to be down at least 100lbs by now. I know it will happen...just not on my time line.

me too! 34 lbs since 12/29 I am still hoping for a slight miracle to be at 199 on my weigh in April 6th for 50 lbs but don't see it happening at this rate.

I was not really losing here in like the last 2 1/2 weeks but this week I have lost 4lbs so keep the faith...it will come off! I had my surger 12/12 and am down 59lbs! Karie

I guess my surgeon was a Scrooge because he didn't give me the larger pouch. I'm not a fast loser but have lost more than some. I am down 75 lbs. ISTILLWANTTOLOSEFASTER.... Dixie
