Hi guys. I havent posted here in a long time so I figured I would now. I'm a slow loser also. I've lost 40lbs {by my scales} since surgery 12/12/03. very slow but still Good. I keep track of my food intake on fitday.com, it's a great site and easy to do. just thought I'd post this here. my totals from fitday for yesterday. Am I close to everyone else on what your intakes are food wise? Calories = 707 Fat = 26 Carbs = 47 Protien = 74 Fluids = 68oz Also, SO far {i'm knocking on every sliver of wood I can find} no more hair loss than normal for me.

Hi Penny, I have lost 40 pounds also Lap RNY 12/1/03. Slower than you! I use fitday.com also and it was a real eye opener at first when I thought I was "eating nothing" and it added up to 700 calories! I typically have: Calories: 1000 or under Fat: 25 Carbs: 35 or under Protein: 60 or more Water: 64 oz There are a lot of slow losers...we will all get there! Lisa G

You gals are great to keep records like that! I just eat 6 mini meals a day Stay low on carbs Miniumn intake on fats Protein is 45 daily Drink as much as I can down in a day Karie -58 lbs

Hi Penny and Lisa! I am a sloooow loser also, I have lost 40 lbs so far. I use fitday also and try to stay within similar limits of you guys. Yes, we WILL get to goal! Crystal

Hello My Fellow Decemberites! I swear, I am beginning to see a pattern here! I am 3 months post op on Friday and at a 49-50 pounds loss. It seems that nearly every December 2003 post-op is a slow loser!!! Were the doctors being generous with our pouches because it was near Christmas?! OH NO!!! Maybe it's the curse of the Decemberites! Let's all chant and break this evil curse! We will put all of our energy together to break this! All together now... Wannalosemorefaster....wannalosemorefaster.....wannalosemorefaster.... Now, if we gain a pound or just don't lose any for a day or two, we must chant this again! Then, we'll see if it worked! Remember all, CHANT!!! Tracy
