now if I can just do 20 lbs in 6 weeks to reach my personal goal of 199!!! and I am in the middle of my period...so I hope that means a few more lbs will magically disappear when Aunt Flow leaves town!!! That would be a very welcome present!!!!! of course I could do without the breakouts and cravings! So far nothing (knock on wood) everything has been going down just fine! No sickness or nothing! Went out to a fancy dinner Saturday night Ordered Veal Picatta it came with 3 sides I got chili, salad and asparagus with hollandaise sauce! I was incredible! I had a few bites of everything then my hubby got this chocolate death cake thing...so I had 1 bite of that! mmmmmmmm Took a lot of veal home ....and had leftovers...I still have enough for like 4 meals probably! but will give to the dogs before then! Can't eat the same thing over and over again! I didn't lose that eating habit with the surgery! I just hate it when the servers think the meal wasn't good! AND I don't want to tell everybody...I tell my co-workers, friends, classmates....but hate to tell perfect strangers unless it came up! I know they think something must be wrong when the fat girl eats less than her skinnier hubby!

hi shannon. i know what you mean about the eating out. my sister is also post-op ( 10 months down 194 lbs.- she's my idol). when we go out to eat, we order one meal and split it and it still looks like we hardly eat anything. i alway make sure though that i tip the same as if we were getting two meals. it's not the servers fault that out tummies are so small. it's funny to see the looks on their faces when they see two,( well not my sister so much, and soon not me!) big girls eating such dainty portions. it puts a smile on my face. congrats on doing so well! michelle -60

It is good to know that I am not by myself. Most of the people that I know that had the surgery have lost more than 30lbs in two months. I have also lost 30lbs in two months and I thought that I was not losing at a normal pace. In addition to that I went from 311 lbs to 282 and then gained 4 lbs and I really do not know what is going on with that. I am exercising but not as often as I should. I am not drinking the protein shakes like I was but I am eating just fine. I eat mostly everything that I want, but of course in small portions. I also experience the looks from the waiters and waitresses and think that something was wrong with the food. Anyway, great sucess on your weight loss. Teresa
