I am two months post op and down 56lbs. 240/184/125
Hi everybody. My date was 12/18. I have lost, according to my scale, 46 lbs. I feel it is going slow. I notice the change in my clothes. I actually had to get rid of some things that were too big!!!. Many people say they notice the difference in my face especially.
Good luck to everybody.

Hi All,
I've lost 34 - 36 pounds so far. Only lost 6 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks. I will be 8 weeks out on Monday. I don't care what the scale says because my ketone strips show I'm losing a moderate to large amount of fat everytime I urinate. My clothes get bagger everytime I put them on. I now have a good amount of energy. I can run up the stairs at work and be able to breathe normally. I can see my ankles. OM they're a little ashy. Well now I can put lotion on them. When I pass a mirror , I like what I see. And I smile.

I've lost 57 pounds for far. I have packed away my first set of "too big clothes". I have been searching in my closet for those clothes that I "grew out of". Some of them are too big already!!! It's almost..... shopping time!!!!. Oh for that day when I can shop in a regular store instead of the 'fat ladies shops'.
My heaviest weight was 292 and now I am at 235. Oh, happy day!!!
Hugs

I am down aobut 60 pounds. I sn't it funny I still feel so impatient and want more. I think I am excited for the below 200 mark that I haven't seen in over 20 years since I started having children. Patience!! I have a hard time seeing the difference but definitely feel better. I am ogin in tomorrow for my second stricture diation.Maybe that has helped keep me honest!!

My surgery was 12/29/03 and I have only lost 28 pounds. I started out pre-op at 311 lbs dropped down to 282 and went back up to 286. I am a little discourage about that, but I am trying not to focus so much on that. I am exercising some, but not at all like I should. I started doing the stairs at work and was thinking maybe the weight gain is contributed to muscle that I may be building, even though I had only walked the stairs for two days (smile). I have been doing curls and sit-ups so I really do not know. I am trying to believe that everyone loses at their own pace, if I could just hold on to that belief, and understand the plateau theology. Great sucess to everyone!!!!!!!!!!
