How are we doing?
My lap RNY was 12/23/04 on my 6 wk Dr. visit on 02/03/04 I had lost 29 lbs. Since then, on my home scales I have lost 4 lbs, for an unofficial total of -33 lbs.
I have only been sick a couple of times, and I do get a hungry feeling sometimes when I drink water. Or, it could just make my stomach ache and it feels like I'm hungry.

Hi,
My surgery was 12/12/03. I've lost 35lbs so far.
Everything is better, so far, than I expected. although I don't have alot of energy yet. I'm still looking for it. the loss is slower than expected but I'm ok with it. like another poster said maybe we wont "need" ps. I'm crossing my fingers!
Everyone is doing so well!!!
hugs to all
Penny
Surgery 12/12/03-so far 37lbs.
Surprised that eating is not fun anymore-and surprised that I am happy about that...most of the time.
Surprised that my clothes are soooo big on me already.
Still waiting for energy level to come back and to start feeling "great" the way some of the others say they feel.
Have gotten sick a few times, but it is after all a learning experience.
Think we are doing great Congrads to all.

Everyone is doing great. Surgery was 12/3 went to Primary doctor to day down 53 lbs. Scar burns a lot of the time. have not found any food but sugar that makes me sick (hot flashes and dizzy). eating 3 -4 ozs at a time but eat only 2 times a day but drink juice, water, and 8oz protien drink everyday
First a round of for all of us December LOSERS!
December 15, 2003 was my big day and my weight was 402lbs. My two month anniversary just went by this past Sunday and the results are.....
drum roll please.............95lbs!
I am still really pushing to get the protien in daily and have had my moments from eating too fast or something just not agreeing with my new tummy. Overall I am shocked by the success I have had and with no issues or complications. I am truly aware of how fortunate and blessed I really am. Like Vivian the biggest surprise is not ever being hungry! Mentally I say I am hungry, but I am really not.
