I'm always COLD!!!!!!!
I've experienced private summers all my life. I couldn't keep a hairstyle because I would sweat it out by the time I got to work I wore braids for several years then I graduated to just a ponytail.
After surgery I've been experiencing the chills At first I thought I had a fever because I'd be sooooo cold. I have to put a heating pad on my feet to keep warm at night when before I'd keep my feet from under the covers because I was trying to stay cool. I'm thinking of buying an electric blanket.
This is actually a pleasure and I enjoy not sweating all the time especially in the mornings and when arriving at work
This is funny because not 20 minutes ago a friend of mine (who is pre op) and I were discussing this very thing. Monday night we were coming out of support group and it was snowing. She had on only a sweater and I had a winter coat on for the first time in years! I used to go out even in this sub zero weather in Massachusetts that we've been having in a t shirt and sweater...now I have a coat and gloves! And I am still cold! How wonderful! I used to joke about having my own insulation but I am glad to be getting rid of it. It's a great feeling and I am happy you're able to feel it, too!
