12/18 - Dr. Capella - NJ - Anyone else out there.

Just wanted to touch base with someone who has had the open RNY surgery on the 18th of Dec. It would be fun to compare notes and rejoice together. Judi

I had open RNY on that date in Detroit. I am doing well, out and about...was cleared to drive last Monday. I am eating soft foods and just venturing into some solids. I tolerated the chicken out of my thai soup last night with no problem. I am craving tuna fish, but will wait a few more days. Email me if you would like to chat.

I had surgery that day too!! I am feeling ok, just bored with the food choices. I am down about 27 lbs. I am seeing Dr. Capella on Friday for my follow-up. Susan
