That is wonderful. I had surgery on 12/9 and I am not doing so good. I have lost 28 lbs. I am kinda discouraged. Sounds like you are doing great!

I think 28 lbs in less than three weeks is awesome. I had my surgery on the 26th with a pre-op weight of 287. I left the hospital at 303. I've already dropped eight of the 16 lbs I gained in the hospital and am thrilled. Count your blessings. You're doing wonderful.

Lisa, you are doing great. Remember to put it in perspective. Don't compare your weight loss with hers unless you weighed exactly the same as she did when she had her surgery. My surgeon says that a successful loss is when you lose 30 pounds in your first month and you are certainly going to do that.

Hi Nada, Wow that is A Great loss!!! My surgery was on dec. 12th and I'm down to 261 {this morning} from 280 on the 12th! I'm comfortable with the pace it's coming off. My rings are slipping around my fingers and my bras {thank goodness!} are feeling bigger around! YAHOOIE! I've not had any complications as of Yet. and Hopefully wont. I cannot express how much I wish I had done this surgery sooner like, when I was in my mid 20's but hey now is better than never! you're doing great sweety, keep up the good work and keep us posted! Lots and lots of hugs! Penny
