Lisa, you are doing great. Remember to put it in perspective. Don't compare your weight loss with hers unless you weighed exactly the same as she did when she had her surgery. My surgeon says that a successful loss is when you lose 30 pounds in your first month and you are certainly going to do that.
Lisa I had surgery on 12-17-03 and I have lost 25LBS I to was discouraged and then I thought to my self before surgery it would have taken me months to lose that amount of weight so I am not stressing on that any more I am off all of my diabeties Meds and I feel great. you are doing great just keep up the good work 28LBS gone forever you go girl and remeber everyone lose at a diffrent rate.Wasia PS: remeber you are losing inches LOL

Hi Nada, Wow that is A Great loss!!! My surgery was on dec. 12th and I'm down to 261 {this morning} from 280 on the 12th!
I'm comfortable with the pace it's coming off. My rings are slipping around my fingers and my bras {thank goodness!} are feeling bigger around! YAHOOIE! I've not had any complications as of Yet. and Hopefully wont. I cannot express how much I wish I had done this surgery sooner like, when I was in my mid 20's but hey now is better than never!
you're doing great sweety, keep up the good work and keep us posted!
Lots and lots of hugs!
