I had my surgery in Oct 27, 2003. My BMI that is wrong unless thats what my BMI will be. THe day of surgery I was 287LBS, I have lost 40lbs. I am post -op7 weeks and go to my suregon tomorrow. I can't eat anything but liquids and very very soft food. It gets stuck in my esophogus and then i vomit. I have lots of gas and diahrea. I thought the first night at the hospital after i came up from recoving I was going to die. This was my first invasive operation that I had had anyway on my body. I have six sites were the staples were. My care in the hospital was very good and my Surgery Dr. Wayne English in Lauderdales, Florida is very concercative, cautious and very caring. I was approved the first time around with my medical insurance company, so that was are relief. i have read some many messages from people who have lost 100lbs in 7 months. Thats truely unbelievable. But everyone is different and have reasonable expections ( though that that would be wonderful). Well i am going for now if anyone would like to talk my e-mail is: [email protected]
