Muscle spasms?

Anyone having muscle spasms through their abdomen? My surgery was just last Tuesday & I am having so much pain that yesterday I ended up in the ER & had a CT scan. Thye found nothing wrong & my husband & the surgeon told me I was just a WUS! Today I realized it was muscle spasms causing the pain. I feel like everything is being squeezed together & it even reaches into my back. I spent the afternoon on the recliner with a heating pad & that helped while I was there. Any ideas how to prevent them? Dixie

Hi Dixie! My surgery was last friday! day after yers. we're practicaly sistahs! hehe, Mine was LAP RNY, I have spasms also, but stomach spasms, it doesnt hurt, {so far, knock on wood} But my back Does. around both sides and to the middle. Ugh. I was told it will stop though. I layed down last night for the first time, since I've been home, on my right side, that was almost heaven. Couldnt sleep though. but oh well. it felt good to lay down in my own bed. As for you being a WUS, No way sweety! That's not true. If you were, you would have Never gotten through your surgery! so tell them to bite it. lol Good luck sweety! Hugs Penny
