Update on Dec. Surgery

I made it to the losing side. I'm so glad that the surgery part is all over and done with. I had 5 little incisions with a total of 20 staples holding them shut. I got the staples taken out on Dec. 9th and it didn't hurt at all. The first week after surgery was a clear liquid diet. Weeks 2-5 I will be on a soft food diet. Just to let you know before surgery I was 264 lbs and a week after surgery I was 148.5 lbs. I LOST 15.5 POUNDS. I'm doing well, no throwing up or anything. Good luck to all of the Dec. surgeries.

I too have made it to the losing side. I am also glad that the surgery part is over. Although I haven't had my staples removed yet, which is preventing me from bending. I am not sure how much I have lost haven't weighed myself yet. I was 263 a week before surgery. Hope to do as well as you did. No throwing up or anything, of course its liquid diet still. Maybe we can email together.
