Post Surgery - December 10th

My name is Kara, I'm Gail's daughter. I'm not certain if I'm posting this update in the right place, but I'm doing my best! My Mom had her surgery on early Monday morning. She's doing great! She's very uncomfortable, but she has not had any complications and she's recuperating well. She was waiting for her doctor at 7:45AM this morning - she's tired of her catheter and they wouldn't remove it until he saw her. So it's out now and she's feeling even better now! She's so thankful for all the prayers and words of encouragement that she has received from everyone. Me, my Father and my brothers are thankful for the support that she has received from this website. This is a journey that we're taking as a family, and we're so proud of my Mom for taking these steps towards her well being. Prayerfully, the next update will be sent by my Mother, but don't be surprised if you hear from me again.

That is awesome Kara. I'm glad Gail is doing great. I had lap rny on Dec 9th and was slow at first, but I feel great today. Hope your mom continues to get better and start losing!
