Any Banders out there?

I am planning on having the lap band surgery. I would like to hear from anyone that has already had this done. I'm scared. Please let me know what your experiences have been, weight loss, etc. Thanks

Hi there!!! I was just banded on November 3rd...I've lost about 14lbs so far...The surgery was really a piece of cake...The pain was only from the incisions, nothing else...The hospital stay was just 1 night, and I was back to work in 2 weeks...Don't be scared-I think that the band is a great tool...And, it's much safer than the RNY...
