Hi Aisha...
It's perfectly normal to be nervous. Until you actually get a date, nothing really seems real. Hackensack is a great hospital and you will do really well. I will be just going home the day you have your surgery. You will be home again and on your way to a brand new you by the weekend!! What an awesome gift you are giving yourself this holiday!!
You will be fine, I promise! I worked in the operating room for about 10 years of my 26 year nursing career, and I can tell you that is looks much more scary than it acutally is. It will be cold and very hi-tech looking. All you will need to do is close your eyes, and before you know it, they'lll be telling you it's all over.
You'll be in my prayers. {{{{Aisha}}}}
