Surgery 12/9/03

12/9/03 Surgery!!!! I can't believe this day is so near. I feel so blessed and grateful that I can have this surgery done, the Proximal/ RNY. I know there are a lot of people that are struggling and battling to get the surgery.Getting insurance approval wasn't so dreadful an experience. My family and friends are supporting me in my decision.I have one problem-I have laryngitis.Whenever I get stressed out or rundown-I end up with this.If I don't get better my surgery will be cancelled.I am taking tylenol,antibiotics,zinc losenges,chicken soup and fluids,I don't know what else to take.I don't need any suggestions.I just need some prayers.I know that God will help me.And maybe a kind word from some member.I know,I have to take it one day at a time.Thanks for being out there in cyberland. Hi Mary, I wish you all the luck and I'll keep you in my prayers this Sunday. As I too am going to have the surgery Dec 9th and I feel like im coming down with something. Maybe its that im run down, nervous. Take care.. Beth
