4 DAYS TO SURGERY

I'M SO EXCITED...SURGERY IS MONDAY AT 8 AT MEDICAL CITY-DALLAS. I'VE APPRECIATED ALL THE SWEET EMAILS. HAVE A COUPLE OF WEEKS LEFT WITH RIGHT ARM IN SLING SO AM STILL ONE HANDED TYPING. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I CAN WRITE MORE. ONE OF MY POST SURGERY GOALS IS TO BE A SUPPORT LINK FOR OTHERS. GOOD LUCK TO ALL MY FELLOW BRAVE SOULS AND GOD BLESS.

Denise, My prayers are with you for a speedy,easy recovery.I am scheduled for surgery,myself on 12/9/03 at Syossett Hospital,on Long Island,NY,quite aways from you.It is really exciting, knowing we are taking such a big step in changing our lives for the better.I am getting really nervous,I have laryngitis.I am taking plenty of fluids and chicken soup and zinc losenges (they are supposed to help.) I probably shouldn't be sharing this you,but I just wanted to remind you to get some rest and take care of yourself.Don't forget-take it one day at a time. Mary
