Was November -- Now December

Hello December people! I had been posting on the November Board as I was scheduled for surgery on November 24. Well yesterday an hour after getting home from all my pre op tests at the hospital, I received a call from my surgeon's office telling me that my surgery was canceled as he would be out of town afterwards and did not want someone in the hospital while he was away. They evidently had some miscommunication in their office about his schedule and my surgery fell through the cracks. I was so bummed, but am trying to see the good in it. I developed a cold this week and am pretty stuffy so this will give me time to get good and healthy again. Also time to finish up Christmas stuff. Still bummed though! Had scheduled my time off work, my husband and mom had taken vacation and I was just ready mentally to get this over with! Everything happens for a reason though, so I will wait out these next two weeks with as much patience as I can muster. Oh, I forgot to mention that I have to go through all the pre ops AGAIN! Ughh.

I was originally scheduled for November 20th and had to postpone it due to bronchitis and asthma problems. I have a new date of December 22nd. My Dr wanted me to wait a month for surgery. Sorry to hear yours got moved back. I know how disappointing it can be.
