I have a date!

I will be starting a new life on December 22, 2003, at Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham. I am starting to get a little nervous, but I am ready. I have been considering this for a year and a half, made the phone call to Dr. Christopher's office in February and had my consultation in August. I was denied by my insurance company the first go-round, but Dr. Christopher's office appealed and I was approved. I know that ten and a half months is not that long compared to some people I've read about, but it's long enough. I am really starting to feel my weight. I decided to try to walk at least two miles every day, and within two weeks my knee was hurting and my feet felt like my arches were falling. And, I'm tired of feeling tired.

I have my surgery on December 22nd to. I was suppose to have mine on November 20th but it was postponed. Dr Facundus is doing my surgery. I started my journey started on August 26th and here I am with a date. Good luck to you!!
