Finally!! Dec 3rd is my date for a new life, a new look,and feeling great!

Well, Its been a long journey. It feels like I've been waiting forever, but the time is drawing near to a whole new me!!! I'm too thrilled for words. I work at Kaiser and everyone has been so supportive. Everyone here at kaiser is like one big family and everyone looks out for everybody. I am very blessed to be a part of a great team. My family is still somewhat skeptical about me getting surgery. They want me to do it the natural way. But I have been down that road so many times before, and I am tired of losing and gaining it back after awhile. I know I have to change my behavoir, and the way I address food and my eating habits. This will just help me a little more. Well at least thats what my doctor says. He says its 95% us, who have to make the changes and stick to them, the other 5% is the surgery. Like I said before, I am blessed to have Kaiser insurance and to work for one of the greatest HMO's of all time. God be with us all who are having surgery soon. Good Luck!!!!!

WELL I GUESS THIS IS IT. I TOO AM HAVING MY SURGERY DECEMBER 3RD!!! I AM BOTH NERVOUS AND EXITED AT THE SAME TIME. JUST HAD 1ST PRE-OP TESTS. WAITING FOR THE DAY. I WISH YOU THE BEST. KEEP IN TOUCH.
