Dec. 1st coming soon

I've waited for so long it seems, now the day will be here before you know it. I'm very nervous but anxious also. This site has helped tremendously.

Hi Carolyn, I, too, am scheduled for Dec. 1st and feel exactly the same way. My doctor said it's very normal to have those "cold feet" feelings when making a life-altering decision. Last week was the first time I felt that way, and I suppose it's because the countdown is on now. My e-mail address is [email protected] (although I hope to change it to Verizon shortly). I try not to think about the surgery day but stay focused on what my ultimate goal is! It's great to know others are going through the same thing. Carol

Hi, I have Dec. 1st too. Yesterday was my pre-op and I couldn't believe how nevours and anxious I was. I just want this over iwth and to be able to start enjoying life again. Good luck on your surgery and your new life. Nina

Hi Carolyn Congratulations on your surgery date. I am having surgery on that day too. I am busy Christmas shopping, being excited, picking up my prescriptions, being anxious, and going crazy. It is great to share with a person who is going through the same things I am. People all around me are not so sure about this surgery.
