I've got a Date! 12-30-03

I feel like I finally got a date for the prom! I could have had this surgery before Thanksgiving but I needed to wait til after Christmas as my 89 year old Mother will be here, and I sure wont be able to take care of her after the surgery!! I am so excited. I just can't imagine buying clothes in the nice boutiques or specialty stores. Each time I fly I worry the seat belt wont fit. I hate being the only heavy person on our street. When I started this journey into WLS I was at my heaviest. I have lost 35# since April and feel better but not like I will 100# lighter. I am all smiles!! When something great happens we would always celebrate with a dinner, now I think I will take a walk in the park with my dog and make him happy too!
