Dec 8th out there?

My day is Dec 8th in Bakersfield. I feel Like it is so close. What do I pack? Can I paint my toe nails and nails or do they ask no? I can't wait. Does anyone have suggestions on how to tell my family( parents). They have mixed feelings.

My date is December 8th as well. I don't know about the nails and toes, but I remember with the sleep apnea test, they wanted no nail polish on because of the sensor you have to wear on your finger.
